The Challenge

DonorSignal needed to identify and reach nonprofit organizations that could benefit from operational advisory services. The traditional approach meant hours of manual research per prospect — searching databases, cross-referencing tax filings, checking hiring activity, and composing individual outreach emails.

The math did not work. At 30-45 minutes per qualified prospect, a single person could research maybe 10-12 organizations per day. To build a meaningful pipeline, we needed to process thousands of organizations with consistent scoring criteria and personalized outreach — something that was not feasible manually.

The Solution: 8-Agent Pipeline

We built an autonomous agent swarm where each agent owns one stage of the pipeline. They pass data forward, handle errors independently, and report status to the orchestrator.

Scout

Discovers target organizations via Apollo.io, filtering by industry, geography, and size indicators.

Analyst

Scores organizations with a multi-factor rubric: revenue, EIN verification, hiring signals, and geographic proximity.

Enricher

Gathers detailed org data, identifies key contacts, and fills in missing fields from multiple data sources.

Messenger

Crafts and sends personalized 3-touch email sequences tailored to each organization's profile and score.

Response

Monitors incoming replies, classifies intent, and routes responses to the right follow-up action.

Blogger

Generates SEO content from pipeline data, turning research into published insights automatically.

LinkedIn

Coordinates social outreach alongside email, maintaining consistent messaging across channels.

Operator

Orchestrates the full pipeline, handles errors, retries failed steps, and reports daily status.

The Scoring Model

The Analyst agent scores every organization using a multi-factor rubric. Revenue tiers, EIN verification, hiring signals from job postings, and geographic proximity all feed into a composite score that classifies each organization.
